Is Thanos in Infinity War a good villain?

  • I think Thanos is complex character, which is probably why people think he lacked character. He is a Titan who is out to destroy the known universe and needs the stones and the gauntlet to do it green arrow and black canary costumes. And, in his conviction, he believes he's willing to do anything to succeed in his goal. But I don't think he ever thought he'd have to sacrifice Gamora, the one daughter he loved. He's not out to kill just for killing sake, he really believes in what he's doing. He wants to remake the universe into something better. What makes him mad as in the ‘Mad Titan’ is that he doesn't care about all the lives that will be lost for his own selfish beliefs. So, no I don't think he'sa bad villain, I just think they gave him more thought and feeling then people were prepared for. The glimpses of him from previous movies portrayed him as someone evil who was only out for power. Now they show us it's not really about the power and the stones are just a means to an end charlie and the chocolate factory anime.
  • Thanos is an excellently written villain.
Probably the best MCU ever has.
He had motivations, emotions, passion, and so much more.
He was noble in a way, and true to his words.
He wasn’t just another big bad trying to conquer the earth. That wasn’t what he was after. rwby roman cosplay
